Showcase & Repository
A chip's detail page (/chips/<slug>) adapts to its stage.
Developing → git repository
A developing chip auto-provisions a git repo (public or private, per the create form). The detail page shows a clone panel:
git clone <clone-url>
Build the RTL, testbenches and docs there like any other repo.
Repo not showing up?
Repo creation is on-demand and self-healing. If the clone panel says there's no repo yet, a moderator (or the owner) can re-provision it:
curl -X POST -H "Authorization: Bearer <token>" \
"$API/api/v1/chips/<slug>/repo"
Developed → photo showcase
A developed chip has no repo — it's a finished product shown as a photo gallery. Owners/staff add images from the detail page:
- Click Add photos and pick image files (multiple allowed).
- Photos are stored in object storage under
chips/<slug>/photos/.
Switching focus
The stage drives which panel appears, so choose it to match where the chip is in its lifecycle when you create the listing. See Publishing Chips for the stage model.
